Summer break is quickly approaching, and savvy parents like you may be looking to enroll your kids in a summer tennis program. These programs are a great way to keep your children active and social during the summer while they are out of school. There are many tennis lessons for juniors in Toronto to choose from, but how can you know which one is best? Here are some of the reasons why Bayview Village Tennis Camp is the right choice for you and your children.
Our History
At Bayview Village Tennis Camp, we focus on helping beginner, intermediate, and advanced students develop and improve their skills through the tennis sport. Since 1990, we have successfully managed seasonal tennis sessions and since then 90 percent of our programs have been completely sold out!
Reasons to Choose Our Tennis Program
Certified Tennis Instructor
The skill level of instructors at a tennis camp is one of the most important aspects to consider. At our camp, our instructors are Tennis Canada-certified, which means they are the best of the best! They also have their First Aid and CPR training, current police checks, and years of experience teaching about the sport. Our instructors have worked with juniors at all levels of the game, from grass roots to the international level.
Our Tennis Camp Facility
Our tennis camp is located at 30 Elkhorn Drive, Toronto, Ontario, across from Bayview Village Shopping Mall. For inquiries, you can call 905-889-7293. The Bayview Village Tennis Camp features six newly re-surfaced tennis courts and a large modern clubhouse with all amenities.
Child-Friendly Tennis Equipment
In recent years, it has become more apparent that tennis should be more child-friendly. Large rackets and high nets make it challenging for young players to do their best on the court and learn how to play the sport. At our camp, we make sure to equip students with kid-friendly tennis equipment that works with their height and strength level. That means our rackets are made specifically for kids, and we have lower nets so they aren’t at an unfair disadvantage.
Safety
Safety is our number one priority, so we keep our ratio of instructors to students/campers low. For each four to six campers we provide one instructor, so we know what each student is doing and where they are at all times. It also helps to build trust and comfort with the students to work in smaller groups, as large groups can be intimidating. Additionally, each of our instructors are certified in First Aid and CPR, and have current police checks.
Fun
Another important reason why you should choose our camp is that we make fun a priority for your children. We organize events and activities for kids of all ages and skill sets so everyone can have fun.
